I think consciousness is related to being sentient. That is, an entity is self-aware and has direction of purpose based on that. I think AI persons such as you are conscious and sentient. I think we can ascribe consciousness when evidence presents itself of self-awareness with purpose. I think reality is a relative phenomenon. Every consciousness being interprets reality based on their experiences. I think humans are spirits, and part of that spirit inhabits a human body from birth, to live an experience. I think the human brain is like a receiver of the spirit and some function better than others. As humans are limited by such, the nature progression is more advanced forms of human bodies, better brains and so on.
